Hands-On

Stewardship, by definition, is the act of taking care of something important. In terms of the land around us, stewardship can be expressed in many ways, from simple things such as pulling invasive weeds to protecting a natural area, to volunteering to help in a complex wildlife reintroduction program or collecting and monitoring species data. Whatever the activity, stewardship, in the biosphere sense, is about people living and working in harmony with nature to inspire a positive future.

Experiential

We learn by doing and in the Biosphere this means everything. We also recognize that stewardship is a journey, and the commitment that comes with being good stewards takes time and effort.

Action-Oriented

When you're caring for something as special as the Beaver Hills Biosphere, we mean business and we're here to get things done.
