Beaver Hills Biodiversity Trail
The Beaver Hills Tourism Working Group, which includes Parks Canada, Government of Alberta, University of Alberta and Strathcona County, began working on the trail concept in 2012 and brought it to reality in 2016.
The trail is located on land purchased by Strathcona County and construction was made possible with financial contributions from the Government of Alberta and industry sponsors Williams Energy and Enbridge.
There is a small parking lot and room for buses at the trail head along with garbage cans, picnic tables and benches on the trial itself. Interpretive signage and portable toilets will be installed in the summer of 2017.
Trail parking lot is located on the east side of Range Road 211, 4.5 km south of Hwy 16 in Strathcona County, AB
